A Refreshing Song of SEVENTEEN’s Recommendation

 I lost myself. Then SEVENTEEN came, and found me. No other magic could ever compare. Music is a way to express when talking is not possible. So here I share some of SEVENTEEN’s song that people don’t talk about

Lately, SEVENTEEN had an interview with weverse magazine. Through this, members recommended some group’s coolest and most refreshing songs they would most like to listen all day. Listen to their recommended music to cast away the annoying buzz of mosquitoes, sticky sweat and lukewarm drinks, and leave yourself with the pastel skies and the breeze of summer nights.

1.    Pretty U

Who doesn’t know this song? As a carat, we’ll definitely know this song. Pretty U is the best song to cheer up your day. It is cute, happy, and cheerful. DK also recommends this song because he really likes the melody. He thinks that the refreshing feeling in this song was unbelievably pretty.

2.    Very Nice

Next is Very nice. Probably this song is what got you into K-Pop. It is like SEVENTEEN anthems because it is played everywhere and every time. On every occasion, everyone will be like “Ajuuu Nice!”. As a leader of SEVENTEEN, S. Coups also recommend this song to people. Besides physically demanding to sing for the encore at concerts sometimes, he said that if he looked back, it made him really happy, and he want to share his happiness with others.

3.    Healing

Healing is one of my fav songs in Love & Letter album. It gives me a feel like I am free from everything that burdens me. At the end of a tiring day, I just want healing. Dive in and throw your body into the ocean of rest and you can take a break. Seventeen’s Mingyu also recommend this song to carat as if he remember the feeling when he running on the beach in Australia back then when they filmed this MV. Hoshi said “The song is about taking a break, so it instantly makes me think of the ocean. Like, ‘Now this is emotional healing!’”

4.   Holiday

Hoshi is a big fan of this song. When being interviewed, he said that “‘Holiday’ was a hot summer, but the song was lively so I felt excited when I heard it. I guess because we shot the music video ourselves with camcorders. It’s so much fun. We’ve got the day off. Let’s do something fun! I’m not working today. What are you up to? You’ll get why I recommended it if you just listen to it.” While Dino said that if you listen to “Holiday” in the summer it becomes a holiday. It’s a nice song to listen to on a sunny day or when you’re out for a drive, too. That part in the chorus, especially — “Take your hand/And go go anywhere”— it’s like saying, When seventeen have a day off, let’s hold hands and just go anywhere; when I’m with you, anywhere’s good. They’ve got no worries so the song feels warm and refreshing. Especially since everyone’s stuck at home right now.

5.   Come to me

Come to me is one of the songs in the ‘You Make My Day’ album. It is not a title track yet it is so calming and soothing. Woozi said to Weverse magazine “Since it's summer right now and I'm thinking about it, I believe I should listen to this song. The lyrics to our brand-new song, "Heaven's Cloud," say, "hot coffee in a cup made of clouds," so I guess it wouldn't work.

6.   Our Dawn Is Hotter Than Day

This song is the most recommended by the members. Jeonghan said by just mentioning the song's name makes him happy. On the cafe rooftop, when they filmed the choreography video, and just thinking about it reminds him of how cool it was despite it being August. “I'm therefore happy to suggest this song. I sincerely hope that you can all experience the same”. Different from Jeonghan’s answer, Joshua like the atmosphere of this song and the feeling he gets when he listens to it, and he hopes other people feel all their woes wash away when they hear it, too. It's enjoyable to listen to it late at night when you can't sleep. Additionally, it works well while it's pouring. He really loves this song.
